New: Application for WEDI SNIP Regional Affiliate Status

SNIP is pleased to announce the formalization of relationships between WEDI SNIP and the growing number of state and regional efforts that have emerged to assist in the implementation of the HIPAA Administrative Simplification regulations.  The WEDI Board of Directors recognizes that the regulations will be implemented at the local level and that collaborations among providers, payers, government agencies, professional associations and vendors will be essential to a smooth and cost-effective process.

The 'Application for Regional WEDI SNIP Affiliate (RSA) Status' is intended to assist in the recognition of regional groups and to formalize the respective roles and responsibilities that will provide the most efficient channel of communication between and among WEDI SNIP and the regional and state affiliates.  Please return applications to Ann Marie Railing at AMRailing@wedi.org, or (703) 391-2718.
