WEDI and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are collaborating with ASC X12 and other industry representatives to host the next online presentation in the ASC X12 5010 Implementation webinar series. These online presentations are designed to gather feedback, track challenges and provide guidance to correcting ASC X12 5010 implementation-related issues.
Please join us Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern Time for the second in a series of webinars addressing some of the issues and solutions in implementing 5010. WEDI, in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other industry representatives, will analyze submitted issues and work to identify appropriate solutions. The May 23, webinar will address acknowledgements, ‘extra data’, and resolving interpretation discrepancies. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session.
The online WEDI 5010 Issue Reporting System, located at
www.wedionline.org
, allows all affected parties, including providers, payers, clearinghouses, and vendors, to easily submit their issues associated with implementing ASC X12 5010, and search through a database of current documented problems. This web-based system offers an easy-to-use interface with multiple sorting categories and sub-categories, including the option to view previously submitted issues and responses to those posted issues.
