As the saying goes, before you can run, you must learn how to walk. Before you can implement, you must know how to test. You must identify who to test with, what you expect from your trading partners, how their schedule impacts yours, and what ‘readiness’ means for a provider vs. a health plan. These are foundational concepts that must be comprehensive in your planning and established in your execution to ensure your organization is ready for ICD-10 on October 1, 2014.
Testing is a complex step on the road to readiness. If your testing strategy and execution are not thorough, your internal and external testing might not lead to operational readiness. That is why WEDI has designated November as Testing Month. Please join us in the month of November for a series of weekly webinars as we take a deep dive into the world of testing. Our goal is to show you the ropes so you’re aware of all the testing models and requirements available to empower you to move from testing to full implementation. Each webinar will proivde a graduated level of information, helping you move from ‘Can you hear me now?’ to ‘All systems go’.
The four in-depth webinars will address the key issues you need to know including end to end testing, lessons learned, testing models, resources and timing, as well as the pracitcal application.
