OVERVIEW:
WEDI, the leading authority on the use of Health IT to improve healthcare information exchange, is inviting members of the Health IT Industry to attend WEDI’s 2013 Annual National Conference: Accelerating Health IT Strategy & Execution to be held May 13-16, 2013, at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. A coalition comprised of a cross-section of the healthcare industry, WEDI works to enhance the quality of care, improve efficiency and to reduce costs of the American healthcare system. In its 22nd year, the WEDI Annual National Conference is expected to attract more than 500 health information management professionals to learn the latest in the management of health information and technologies. We need you to share your expertise, successes, and ideas with your peers!

PROGRAM FOCUS:
The 2013 conference agenda has been developed specifically from member feedback and with your business needs in mind. Attendees will leave the program with a better understanding of the issues currently facing the healthcare industry, strategies to approach these new challenges, how these issues affect your business partners, and how the industry can work together as a whole to create a more efficient implementation. On Monday, May 13, 2013, there will be a full-day Privacy & Security Pre-Conference from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM for $149 per person, as well as a half-day Dental Pre-Conference from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM for $99 per person AND a half day HPID Pre-Conference from 1:30-5:30 PM for $99 per person. These fees are in addition to the main conference fee and can be selected as a separate options on your registration form on the 2nd page. The main conference will run 2.5 days from Tuesday, May 14, to Thursday, May 16, 2013.

Cancellation and Other Policies:
WEDI does not accept cancellations, but substitute attendees are permitted with payment of a $15 processing fee. If you wish to make a substitution, please contact Amy Verd at averd@wedi.org.

By registering and attending this conference, you agree to be photographed and allow WEDI to use those pictures on the WEDI website & in WEDI social media. In addition, WEDI does not permit the recording of any sessions at the conference.

The WEDI 22nd Annual National Conference will be held at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. The cut-off date to make your reservation at the group rate of $189 per night was Thursday, April 18, 2013. The Venetian hotel will take room reservations if they have availability, but the group rate is now NOT guaranteed. Note, there is also an automatic resort fee of $20 per night, which includes unlimited local and toll-free calls, unlimited in-suite Internet access, daily newspaper, daily access to hotel's Canyon Ranch fitness center for 2 guests, boarding pass printing, and 2 for 1 drinks at the Venetian bar. The individual deposit policy is 1st Nights Suite+Tax. The individual cancellation policy is 72 Hours Before Day of Arrival.

Travel Information:
Distance from McCarran International Airport (LAS) to the Venetian Hotel is 4.5 miles. Shuttle buses and taxi cabs will be readily available to and from the airport and hotel.

WEDI has coordinated a discount airline rate with American Airlines. WEDI conference registrants will receive a 5% discount off their booked ticket to and from Las Vegas.
