The WEDI 2009 Fall Conference will be held on November 16-19, at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Join us for this program, designed specifically with your feedback in mind, with presentations from industry leaders and highly interactive workshops led by industry experts.

2009 promises to be a year of dynamic change and transition for our country and the healthcare industry. A new administration under the leadership of President Barack Obama will be advocating and implementing policies and regulations which will impact your business. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) will significantly affect the progress and outcomes of the many IT initiatives currently underway. In addition, two long-awaited final rules addressing Transaction Modifications (the 5010, D.0, etc.) and ICD-10 have been released. The 2009 WEDI Fall Conference has been designed to provide you with an understanding of these changes and to assist you in your business planning and decision-making for this very critical fiscal year.

The conference agenda has been developed with your business needs in mind. The conference will address those issues of utmost importance to you and your organization. Attendees will leave the program with a better understanding of the issues currently facing the healthcare industry, strategies to approach these new challenges, how these issues affect your business partners, and how the industry can work together as a whole to create a more efficient implementation of the changes these issues bring. Your attendance and participation in this program is essential to your being informed and prepared for the anticipated changes that lie ahead!

The WEDI 2009 Fall Conference will begin with two, full day pre-conference sessions. Expansion of Security and Privacy and Funding in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (separate registration required) will address topics such as the basics of the HITECH Act, All Things Funding in ARRA, GINA and Privacy, HITECH and Security, Breach and Breach Notification.
