On February 24-25, 2010, in Fairfax, VA, WEDI will conduct a full two day Policy Advisory Group (PAG) Forum to address both the Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Electronic Health Record Incentive Program Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) and the Interim Final Rule (IFR) for HIT; Initial Set of Standards, Implementation Specifications and Certification Criteria for EHR. The industry has been given 60 days to comment on each piece of legislation. Your participation in this important program is vital as we will be seeking your guidance and input on what recommendations and suggested modifications need to be submitted to HHS and ONC regarding both the proposed regulations as well as the Interim Final rule. The healthcare industry has been waiting for the publication of these important regulations for some time, and their impact on your business and administrative operations will be significant.
