WEDI/AFECHT/HL7/X12 Electronic Claims Attachments Surveys

WEDI, HL7, X12 and AFEHCT has completed its surveys of current practices in the use of Health Care Claims Attachments. We designed separate surveys for Health Plans, Providers and Vendors (encompassing Billing Services, Software Vendors and Clearinghouses). Vendors were also asked about their plans to support the electronic Claims Attachment, expected to be the next transaction standard adopted under HIPAA.

De-identified survey data is available in different formats: XLS, DBF and SAV (SPSS version 9). The responses correspond to the sequence of answers in the Survey Questions (below). You will need an appropriate data management tool to analyze the results.
