| This paper was originally intended to review the impact of the HIPAA direct data entry (§162.923(b) DDE) exception to transaction standards. However, there proved to be significant industry debate over what was or was not allowed under this exception. As a result, the original and all subsequent draft versions of this paper have been withdrawn. |
