NPI Subworkgroup

Scope of Work: The main purpose of the NPI Implementation WG is to serve as the focal point to the industry for information related to the NPI’s impact on the implementation of 005010 and D.0, i.e. HIPAA ‘2’ (TCS modifications). NPI education and outreach will continue to play a critical role in the successful planning, transition, full adoption and implementation of the NPI, and the evaluation of postimplementation corrections and adjustments as identified through the HIPAA transaction upgrades.
