Electronic Medical Bill for Workers Compensation, Auto and Other Property Casualty Subworkgroup

Scope of Work: The purpose of this group is to collaborate with the Workers' Compensation Industry through the IAIABC and jurisdictional workers' compensation regulators, auto and other property and casualty (P&C) insurers and organizations to review and propose implementation strategies and solutions to meet the requirements of the Jurisdictions as regulations are passed regarding EDI. The goal is to work toward a national implementation that facilitates successful role out within the framework of the HIPAA Transactions and Code Sets where possible while clearly documenting the workers' compensation, auto and other P&C exceptions, and to reduce the impact to providers, vendors, payers and their eBill agents.
