Implementation Subworkgroup

Scope of Work: The Implementation SWG is reviewing the industry status, risks and implications specific to the implementation of the new ICD-10 code sets for the purpose of staying abreast of the industry implementation issues, ideas, status and communicating appropriately as a WEDI SNIP SWG. Activities the Implementation SWG are providing information and insight on include but are not limited to: A recommended strategic approach for Implementation; resources utilized by the key stakeholders to implement ICD10; typical steps being utilized to implement and time to completion; technology system implementation approach and concepts (reporting); business and process implementation approach and concepts (Provider Contracting - training impact ); and define who needs to be involved in the implementation
