As a member of the product and technology team at Practice Fusion, Ms. Richmond helps to ensure that all products and features contribute to a high quality health care and clinical documentation experience. Ms. Richmond also works closely with the company’s senior leadership team to advise them on new business development opportunities including policy implications and potential risks in areas including health information exchange, payment reform, care coordination programs, ACOs, patient safety, quality improvement and patient/provider engagement. Dr. Taler is Director of Long Term Care at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and Professor, Clinical Medicine, Geriatrics and Long Term Care, at Georgetown University, School of Medicine. His responsibilities include Co-Director of the Medical House Call Program, Vice President for Medical Affairs of MedStar Home Health-VNA and MedStar Home Infusion Services, and Medical Director of Capital Hill Nursing Center, a 114-bed skilled nursing facility in Washington, D.C. He currently chairs the Public Policy Committee, of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine where his interests are focused on the development and implementation of the Independence at Home Demonstration, as part of the national health care reform initiative.
