Join WEDI in Celebrating National Health IT Week: Oct 5-9, 2015

October 05, 2015

Health information technology improves the quality of healthcare delivery, increases patient safety, decreases medical errors, and strengthens the interaction between patients and healthcare providers.

To mark the important role health information technology plays in improving healthcare delivery in America, WEDI and others across the U.S. have joined together to celebrate National Health Information Technology (NHIT) Week with the theme: One Voice, One Vision: Transforming Health and Care.

National Health IT Week has emerged as a landmark occasion for using health IT as part of the overall solution to improve America’s healthcare as a bipartisan, federally led, market driven initiative. It consists of events across the country all working together to elevate national attention to the advantages of advancing health IT. Join WEDI for a FREE webinar on HIPAA Integrity on October 7, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. EDT. More information is available here.

We hope you’ll band with us to help promote the importance of health IT to all! Visit www.HealthITWeek.org for a full list of partners and updates on the NHIT Week’s activities. Working together with our growing coalition of stakeholders, WEDI is helping to transform healthcare for all.
