Over the years, many of you have grown your own network, knowledge and skillset by participating in WEDI workgroups, conferences, webinars and more.

Next year is WEDI’s 30-year anniversary, prompting us to re-examine our accomplishments, consider the challenges before us, and uncover ways to overcome the systemic roadblocks in interoperability as we approach a new era in data exchange. As an industry, we need to reflect on past successes, invite new ideas, talents, and backgrounds.

This mentoring program will focus on developing our future leaders, creating a pathway for the next generation to take on these challenges with reinvigorated passion, introducing new perspectives, and in turn groom a new group of leaders who know that our success lies with the diversity of our leaders. Each participant is paired with an experienced mentor who will introduce them to challenging topics that are critical to your organization’s success, develop industry connections, hone leadership skills, and encourage active participation in our workgroups.

This program provides a unique opportunity for our member organizations to identify promising employees and sponsor their participation in a year-long program. We also encourage those to come forward to be a mentor as a rewarding way to give back to the next generation.
