WEDI Announces 2022 Board of Directors

Multi-stakeholder board comprised of health plans, providers, government regulators, industry vendors and standards organizations ensure the inclusion of diverse perspectives on a leading HHS advisor’s governing body.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — December 20, 2021 — WEDI today announced the election of the new members to its 2022 Board of Directors along with the election of Officers and the re-election of previous board members to serve two-year terms. WEDI, the nation’s leading nonprofit authority on the use of health IT to create efficiencies in health care information exchange, is a statutory advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“Our five new members of our board of directors bring diverse expertise and insight to the work of our organization and further WEDI’s mission of improving the exchange of health data,” said Charles W. Stellar, president and CEO of WEDI. “In welcoming the new additions, we also extend our appreciation to the outgoing Officers who have assisted WEDI during this challenging year. We are delighted that such a strong group of new board members have joined WEDI and look forward to having them advance the work of our organization through participation in our many committees and workgroups,” stated Stellar.
