WEDI 2018: Day 1 Recap

The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) conference kicked off yesterday in Arlington, Virginia. Day 1 highlighted key improvements in healthcare technology, information exchanges, enhancements on quality of care, and cost reduction in the American healthcare system. Conversations began with our keynote speaker, Dr. Donald Rucker, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology followed by, David B. Muhlestein, Chief Research Officer Leavitt Partners, LLC, John Jesser, President, LiveHealth Online, and ending with Dr. Peter Rasmussen, Medical Director, Distance Health, Cleveland Clinic.
