This joint letter was sent to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra from the HIPAA-designated Standards Development Organizations and Operating Rules Entity (CAQH Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange, Health Level Seven, National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange, and X12). The letter represents a consensus on a number of critical administrative transactions issues.
