Certified Genetic Counselors Fact Sheet

Developed by the WEDI Genomics Workgroup

The Fact Sheet explores opportunities to improve electronic data exchange and expand access to Certified Genetic Counselors.  Reimbursement reform, licensure alignment, and standardized data sharing could lead to greater care coordination, increased access to genetic counseling, enhanced support for precision medicine, and improved patient outcomes while at the same time reducing administrative burden and delays in patient care.
